B-Wise, born Brandon Wise, is an independent hip-hop artist and business owner from Asheville, North Carolina. For the last twenty years, Wise has been making gospel rap music, but, last summer, he launched his own fragrance line, Wise Fragrances. Now, Wise balances pushing his music and his business from his new home in Atlanta, Georgia.
As an independent artist, Wise writes and records all of his own music, using beats from producers such as Allrounda and Legion Beats, and is heavily involved in conceptualizing music videos for his songs. He worked with videographer, Benji (@benjididit) to develop his latest video for his single, “He Reigns,” which was released in May 2021.
Music has been Wise’s passion since he recorded his first song at thirteen years old, but this step into starting his own business has opened many new doors for the artist. It’s allowed him to expand his ministry and use his other gifts and talents to reach people beyond his audience and the hip-hop industry.
B-Wise continues to make new music alongside designing new fragrances for his line. Currently, he’s working on finishing his third studio album, Triune, which is scheduled to be released on February 4th, 2022.
Wise has big plans for his future career that merge his passion for music and business, including getting into real estate, establishing Wise Fragrances as a top-selling brand, and having his records go platinum.
Though there are many challenges to balancing a music career and a business, B-Wise is managing the hustle and he isn’t stopping yet!
