What is your name?
My name is J’Ki L’Sonne Carmichael
Would you rather have?
50k in cash or a perfect credit score, and why?
I’d rather have a perfect credit score. I’ve experienced 50k in cash already. It’s not a lot of money. With that perfect credit score I can get anything I want including cash if I need it. My credit score is pretty good right now and that’s what’s been fueling a lot of my moves, excellent credit.
Who is your favorite producer?
Kanye West
Are you a touring artist or a recording artist?
Right now I’m a recording artist but I want to go on tour. I’d love to go on tour with any of the greats in my eyes.
Have you ever thought about quitting music?
Of course. The main reason I thought about giving it up is because people don’t always appreciate it when you give it to them the first time. I had a conversation with Drake A. And he told me I’m too good to give up on music. He was one of the main reasons I was able to complete the album.
Favorite Era of music?
Early 2000s
Do you plan on traveling?
Yes. I want to go to a lot of places I’ve never been and I’d also like to visit Chile again.
Are you an independent artist or are you signed or under any management?
I’m an independent artist. I signed myself to myself. ( HYPE BILLIONAIRES ENTERTAINMENT! ) I am willing to sign and work with other labels in the industry though. We all have to help each other because that’s how we eat.
What was your most memorable concert, did you perform at it?
My most memorable concert was the 2015 Universal Studios Trey Songz concert. He was the one that told me I could do it. I didn’t perform I was just in the crowd but I felt his sincerity. The next thing I know I was in the club taking pictures and turnin’ up with YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
What was your biggest challenge that you had to overcome during your music career, so far?
The biggest challenge for me was learning how to record myself. That’s why making this album ( To Whom It May Concern) is my biggest achievement so far.
