Freddie Gibbs isn’t feeling the title of Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s upcoming project, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, claiming it’s a clear case of them biting his style.
Gibbs pointed out the similarities between their album title and his 2022 project, $oul $old $eparately (stylized as $$$), which he often abbreviates the same way. While he hasn’t gone too deep into his accusations, he’s made it clear he sees this as more than just a coincidence.
With $$$4U already stirring up major buzz, it’ll be interesting to see if Drizzy or PND respond—or if Gibbs takes things a step further.
