What is your name?

-Legal name is Winston Smigelski but I prefer to go by Gly.

Would you rather have? 50k in cash or a perfect credit score, and why?

-Perfect credit score, I can secure loans and investments way beyond what 50k can get me with that.

Who is your favorite producer?

-Said the Sky

Are you a touring artist or a recording artist?

-Currently recording with touring aspirations.

Have you ever thought about quitting music?

-Thought about it, but my why is stronger than the “what if”.

Favorite Era of music?

-2010’s. I feel like there were a lot of crossroads and stories that are fun to look back at with the benefit of hindsight.

Do you plan on traveling?

-Absolutely, any chance I can get

Are you an independent artist or are you signed or under any management?

-Not signed to any label, currently working with a friend for management

What was your most memorable concert, did you perform at it?

-Illenium’s Ascend tour, Detroit, 2019. I didn’t perform at it, but seeing the conclusion of a story that I had watched grow for years with several of my favorite artists all supporting each other on stage as homies was a very moving experience

What was your biggest challenge that you had to overcome during your music career, so far?

-I was in the Army for almost the entirety of my career, I only got out a few months ago. The job sucked up almost all of my time and drained my mental health. I had to dig deep and keep grinding while not having the freedom to book any shows.
