Meet Ytbzai, the rising hip hop artist with a story rooted in struggle, triumph, and a relentless pursuit of greatness. Born as Xzaiver Hardiman in Stockton, CA, but raised across several Southern states, including Florida, Mississippi, and Georgia, Ytbzai’s musical journey is as dynamic as his background. His sound draws heavily from the streets and the culture that shaped him, blending raw emotion with the unapologetic energy of trap music.
From an early age, Ytbzai knew he wanted to make music. Inspired by legends like Bankroll Fresh, Young Thug, Young Jr., and JBlacc, he felt the call to create and share his own stories. “My music is about what’s going on around us every day in the trenches. It’s real,” Ytbzai says. His style is best described as trap art, a reflection of the gritty, yet soulful beats he crafts to narrate his experiences.
In 2023, Ytbzai faced a major setback. He was shot seven times while preparing to release his album. But that didn’t break him; instead, it fueled his fire. “I’m blessed to still be here, and the album’s still dropping March 22,” he adds with determination. This resilience, his ability to keep pushing forward despite the odds, is what makes him stand out as an artist. His drive isn’t just about music; it’s about showing his family, supporters, and fans that he’s alive, thriving, and making moves.
One of the key things that motivates him is the support he gets from his loved ones. “The look on my family’s face, knowing I’m not dead or in prison, keeps me going,” Ytbzai says. He’s focused on building a legacy not just for himself, but for those who have had his back throughout the journey.
As an independent artist, Ytbzai values the power of collaboration but operates on his own terms. While he works closely with his team, TMF, and his guiding force Pure Business ENT, he stays true to his street-money roots. His next big project is an album, but he’s also got exciting collaborations in the works, including a track with TMF DJ Rex.
For Ytbzai, the music business isn’t just about fame—it’s about giving the people what they can feel and relate to. Whether it’s through his trap art or his engaging social media presence, where he stays real and connects with fans, Ytbzai is here to stay.
