Halle Berry’s Legacy Lives On: Gen Z Stars Pay Tribute with Spooky Costumes

Halle Berry‘s inspiring talent knows no generational bounds as proven this spooky holiday season. Sharing their costumes across social media on Wednesday (Oct. 30), Gen Z stars Coi Leray, Halle Bailey, and Tyla all offered their take on some of the actress’ most memorable roles.

Coi Leray kept it classic with a custom costume mimicking Halle Berry’s iconic Catwoman look. The 27-year-old’s black and leather get-up was designed by Indea Dezjèl.

“Killed it!!” commented Berry with a hand-clap emoji.

Halle Bailey went to the beach for her Halle Berry-inspired costume. The singer/actress decided to take on Berry’s Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson character from the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day. In her costume, she sports a short pixie cut and orange bikini.

“Awe …my girl did that!” commented the Hollywood veteran. “What a huge compliment! Love you angel.”

South African popstar Tyla went prehistoric to channel Halle Berry’s beauty. The Grammy winner dressed as Berry’s Sharon Stone character in the 1994 The Flintstones movie.

“Well I’ve been a very bad girl, but you have to admit…I was very verrrrry good at it,” wrote the 22-year-old in her caption.

“Too good,” responded Berry with the heart-eye emoji.

“The girls know how to make my day,” exclaimed the Academy Award-winning actress on X after seeing the homage.

The 58-year-old herself posed as a witch this Halloween, complete with her black cat, a robe, hat, and tights.

“No need for tricks when me and my little black kitty are the treat!” shared the Ohio native on Monday. Take a look below.
