Royal Rhythms: Xscape and SWV Unveil ‘The Reign of R&B Tour’ with Stellar Lineup”

Today, the R&B realm was set ablaze as the iconic Xscape and SWV announced their joint venture, “The Reign of R&B Tour,” slated to launch this June. This electrifying tour is bound to captivate audiences across various North American cities. Adding to the excitement, Mýa, Total, and 702 are set to grace the stage as supporting acts, promising a musical journey like no other. Monami Entertainment and Live Nation are teaming up to orchestrate this monumental three-month spectacle.

In a statement to Billboard, Mona Scott-Young, the visionary behind Monami Entertainment, emphasized the monumental impact of Xscape and SWV on the R&B landscape. “These queens of R&B have forged an enduring connection with fans, and alongside 702, Mýa, and Total, they’re embarking on a nationwide odyssey to deliver an unforgettable co-headlining experience,” she declared. Scott-Young also praised the resilience and fortitude of these trailblazing artists, affirming her pride in contributing to this watershed moment in R&B culture.

Adding to the anticipation, a teaser released on Monday featuring Scott-Young alongside Xscape and SWV hinted at the tour’s imminent announcement. The clip, filled with humor and camaraderie, left fans eagerly anticipating what promises to be a remarkable tour experience.

Xscape, renowned for their chart-topping album “Traces of My Lipstick,” which debuted over two decades ago, continues to reign supreme in the hearts of R&B enthusiasts. Similarly, SWV’s latest offering, “Still,” released in 2016, serves as a testament to their enduring relevance in the music industry.
