Pink spent New Year’s Eve in the hospital, taking steps to “fix her body” ahead of 2026. On December 31, the Trustfall singer shared a selfie from her hospital bed, showing gauze on her neck and a reassuring smile. She confirmed that she had successfully replaced two vertebral discs in her neck.
“I want to say Happy New Year’s to everyone. I am so happy to say goodbye to the snake year and welcome in the horse,” Pink captioned the post, referencing the Chinese zodiac. “This year was a doozy for all of us and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying.”
Reflecting on 2025, Pink acknowledged both the challenges and the beauty she witnessed throughout the year. “And I got to wake up every day and get out of bed and go about my business — the business of loving my children and helping them to follow their dreams. Showing them that life is an adventure or nothing at all.”
Pink shares two children with her husband, former motocross athlete Carey Hart: daughter Willow, 12, and son Jameson, 9. In her post, she also spoke about saying goodbye to “incredibly important people” and welcoming new ones into her life.
She explained the reasoning behind her surgery: “And I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body. It may not be a fancy face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck. A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it’s worth.”
Acknowledging the physical toll of her career, Pink called rock ‘n’ roll a “contact sport” and noted that she spent New Year’s Eve solo while her family enjoyed snowboarding.
“I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made,” she added.
The singer’s resilience follows a challenging 2025, including a bout with E. coli while on vacation last August. True to form, Pink remained unbothered at the time, sharing a photo of herself sipping wine with friends despite the illness.
