Lil Baby Launches “Wham Wednesdays” to Keep Fans Fed Through Year’s End

Fans waiting on Dominique or The Leaks might have to stay patient a little longer, but Lil Baby isn’t leaving them empty-handed. On Monday night (Nov. 3), the Atlanta rapper announced a new series called “Wham Wednesdays,” promising to release fresh music every Wednesday for the rest of 2025.

“Song and video every Wednesday for the rest of the year,” he shared on X (formerly Twitter). The news sparked a mix of excitement and frustration among fans — many thrilled for new material, while others voiced disappointment over the continued delays surrounding his long-awaited albums.

If Lil Baby sticks to his word and kicks things off this Wednesday (Nov. 5), fans can expect nine new songs before the year wraps up — even with Christmas falling on a Wednesday.

Adding to the anticipation, Lil Baby teased a potential collaboration with Playboi Carti by reposting a backstage photo of the two at Carti’s Antagonist 2.0 Tour stop in Detroit with the caption, “Soon.” Whether the track will be “Let’s Do It” — a song once rumored for The Leaks — or something entirely new remains to be seen.

Earlier this year, Lil Baby dropped WHAM, his comeback project featuring “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” with Young Thug and Future, along with fan favorites like “F U 2x” and the GloRilla-assisted “Redbone.” The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, setting the stage for what was expected to be his fifth studio album, Dominique. Originally slated for February and later May, the album was delayed indefinitely — possibly due to WHAM’s success and his massive WHAM World Tour, whose European leg was canceled in September.

Still, Lil Baby hasn’t slowed down. In late October, he dropped back-to-back releases — “All On Me” with G Herbo and “Plenty” featuring YTB Fatt and YFN Lucci — keeping his streak strong as Wham Wednesdays begins.
