Jake Strain So Paid Promo Tour New Castle, Indiana

On June 15th, the So Paid Promo Tour, presented by Swaggertown Records, rolled through New Castle, Indiana, transforming a quiet town into a full-blown celebration of raw hip hop talent. At the center of the storm was Jake Strain, the visionary behind the movement and one of the night’s most commanding performers.

Jake didn’t just show up — he set the tone. The crowd locked in when he hit the stage with Yung Fate to perform their emotionally driven single “Breathe.” A departure from the party anthems of the night, “Breathe” cut deep with themes of mental health, resilience, and the battle to stay afloat. Jake’s verses were heartfelt and honest, while Yung Fate’s feature added a melodic vulnerability that made the track hit even harder live. It was a moment of reflection in a night full of fire.

But Jake wasn’t done. The energy took a sharp turn up when he joined Afroman, Yung Fate, and DJLeach for the high-powered fan favorite “420.” The smoke-filled anthem had the whole venue lit — literally and figuratively. The crowd bounced as each artist brought their own flavor to the track, and Jake’s presence was undeniable, riding the beat with confidence and ease.

Whether he’s speaking from the heart or lighting up the room, Jake Strain continues to prove he’s more than just an artist — he’s a leader, a curator, and a force in the independent scene. The So Paid Promo Tour is his brainchild, and it’s quickly becoming a movement that puts authenticity and artistry front and center.
