Who are your biggest supporters?

My biggest supporters are my family, my dogs, and my hardworking team.

Where did your name come from?

My original stage name came from a period of time in my life where I was really into video games. However, I grew into The Solo King, which represents an evolved version of myself that is more mature, sexier, and fully formed.

Do you write your own material?

Yes, I do, but when I collaborate with co-writers or featured artists I am really supportive of them having creative freedom and offering their opinions/advice.

Do you create your own music video concepts?

See question 9: I come up with the vision for my video concepts and outsource them to talented videographers to bring to life.

What’s your favorite music to listen to?

My favorite music to listen to is blues, jazz, and hip-hop.

What are you currently working on?

I currently have my debut full-length album as The Solo King set to drop in mid-November.

What is your latest release?

My latest release is my single “Innocent,” however, I have a few new releases coming before the 12 track album drops.

When is your next release?

My next single “Vitamin D” is dropping on Friday 10/29.

Are you the type to pull up alone or with a group of people?

Typically, I am a loner type.

What is one stage you want to sell-out?

The LaCrosse Center in Wisconsin.

Where is one place you want to travel to perform?

I would love to travel to Dublin, Ireland.

What’s the biggest crowd that you have performed for?

The biggest crowd I performed for was when I opened up for an artist at The Rave in Milwaukee.

Who’s someone you can see yourself on tour with?

I think I would be a great opener for Common.

Who produces your music?

I produce my own music.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself doing A&R work to help other emerging artists.

What’s your favorite clothing brand?

Guilty pleasure, but I love the Goodfellow brand they carry at Target.

Where do you shop?

I shop at Kohl’s and Target a lot.

What’s your favorite type of car?

Audi

What’s your favorite place to travel to?

Memphis, TN

Did COVID change your career for better or worse?

For better because it slowed everyone down in a positive way and people focused on promoting online, which is where I’m most accessible at the moment.
