What got you into the Hip Hop culture?

I got influenced by the Hip Hop culture when I first moved to the United States at the age of 9 back in 2005.

The environment I grew up in was heavily influenced. Everyone I knew was into Hip Hop so that left a heavy mark on me growing up.

I always knew that I had the talent to rap and wanted to test out my skills on the mic, the rest is history!

Who is your biggest influence in hip hop?

My biggest influence in Hip Hop was Lil Boosie.

I grew up in the South. Back in 2005 Boosie was probably one of the biggest if not THE biggest artist coming from the South.

His influence on music was crazy to me.

He Inspired me in so many different ways.

When did you decide you wanted to be an Artist?

I decided I wanted to be an artist when my friends started telling me to rap about my lifestyle.

They told me that rapping about what I do daily would be easy because I can actually speak on the flashy “get money” lifestyle because I actually live it.

Their confidence in my abilities inspired me to take being an artist very seriously.

Do you have any favorite producers?

Unfortunately at the moment, I don’t have a favorite producer. I can name a few that I really like.

Kanye West, Metro Boomin, and Pete Rock are hands down my favorite producers of all time, it would be cool to work with Kanye one day, but everything in due time.

Who is your favorite current artist?

My favorite artist right now is Lil Baby. I love his music and the way he flows on beats. His wordplay is also out of this world. His swag and tone is one of a kind.

I like how versatile and dynamic his melodic range is, his music sounds all the same but all different at the same time. I respect how he can keep it fresh musically and it’s definitely inspiring to see/hear.

Who do you want to work with/collab with (Inside or out of the Hip Hop genre)?

I would love to work with Lil Baby in the near future. That’s my goal right now at the moment.

I believe he and I on a track would be mind-blowing! It would be a dream come true honestly, Baby is hands down one of the most talented artists in the game right now.

Putting our musical talents together is something I know the fans would go crazy for!
If anyone hears your music what kind of vibe should they expect?
When you hear my music you should expect a “lit” type of vibe, something that’s very motivating and productive. My music should make you want to get up off your ass and get some cash.

What is next for the homie Fortmanny BetsI am finishing up my EP to be released next year, that, and a tour are currently being lined up in the summer!I cant provide any further details on it, but I also have a BIG announcement in the works coming soon so stay tuned!
