ELLSEA gave us some love today by discussing her new single, “Twisted,” featuring Tyla Yaweh. The track delves into the complexities of toxic relationships, turning personal pain into a universal anthem of resilience and hope. We sat down with ELLSEA to get an inside look at the creation of “Twisted,” her experiences working with industry heavyweights, and what keeps her grounded amid her rising fame.

CLOUT:  “Twisted” is deeply personal. What drove you to share this story?

ELLSEA: It was about healing, not just for me but for anyone who’s felt trapped in a toxic relationship. Music has this incredible power to connect and heal, and if “Twisted” can help even one person, then sharing my story is worth it.

CLOUT:  Working with Tyla Yaweh and Sam Cahill must have been exciting. These are two major figures. How did these collaborations influence the project?

ELLSEA: Absolutely. Tyla brought an energy that elevated the song, adding depth to its narrative. And Sam? Working with him was surreal. He translated the song into visuals that captured its essence perfectly, making the music video a dream project for me.

CLOUT:  With such rapid success, how do you stay grounded and focused on your music?

ELLSEA: It’s all about remembering why I started making music in the first place—therapy and joy. The milestones are incredible, but the real success is in creating something that moves people.

CLOUT:  What’s next for you?

ELLSEA: More music, more stories. I’m just getting started and can’t wait to share what’s next. There’s a lot in the pipeline, including some surprises that I think fans will love.

Do yourself a favor and check out the single on Spotify & the official music video on YouTube.
