JUNGLE LEEZ: Life and its challenges inspired “Like I Really Care.” It reflects on the irony of gaining support only after you’ve made it on your own. This song is special because of its musicality and the genuine flow of the lyrics, which were written in a spontaneous burst of creativity that took just 30 minutes.
CLOUT: You’ve worked with some notable names on this track. Could you share more about the collaboration process?
JUNGLE LEEZ: Absolutely! I collaborated with Money in the Building, Sancho, and Matty “Ice” Harris on this song. The synergy was incredible. As soon as I heard the beat, the melody and theme just came to me effortlessly. It was one of those perfect studio moments where everything just falls into place.
CLOUT: What makes the music video for “Like I Really Care” stand out?
JUNGLE LEEZ: The video is shot between London and Atlanta, featuring a futuristic vibe at Canary Wharf. It’s a celebration of color and dance, capturing an atmosphere of freedom and bliss. Working with director Rok Kadoic, known for his work with athletes like Francis Ngannou, added a layer of cinematic quality to the project.
CLOUT: With such a striking song and video, what are you most proud of about this project?
JUNGLE LEEZ: I’m most proud of how authentically it represents my artistic vision. The entire process was joyous, and I feel that translates into the final product—both the song and the music video.
CLOUT: You mentioned earlier significant career highlights. Could you delve into those experiences?
JUNGLE LEEZ: One of my biggest highlights was winning the GAFA trophy in France as the best singer of African descent. Another was opening for Princess Eud in Paris, and more recently, headlining the Orchid Festival at Kew Gardens here in the UK. These moments really affirmed my place in the music world.

JUNGLE LEEZ: It’s the countless messages from fans explaining how my songs positively impacted their lives. Knowing my music can touch lives on such a personal level really drives home why I do this.

JUNGLE LEEZ: We have a rich catalog of songs ready to go! Expect new singles, music videos, and collaborations. My next release is set for April 19th, and it marks the beginning of a new chapter for me.

JUNGLE LEEZ: For creativity, when I hit a block, I take a break to refresh my mind—travel, read, or just engage in meaningful conversations. As for performance, thorough rehearsal is key; it builds confidence and smoothes out the nerves.
CLOUT: Finally, if you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
JUNGLE LEEZ: I’d love to work with Lauryn Hill or Damian Marley. They both have deeply influenced my music style, which I call Cosmic Soul—a blend of soul, hip-hop, reggae, and conscious lyrics.
