“Stop Capping”: Cardi B and Offset Exchange Insults Over Divorce

Cardi B and Offset’s divorce saga continues to escalate, with the couple engaging in yet another public feud on social media just days after being spotted together on Offset’s birthday (Dec. 14). On Wednesday (Dec. 18), tensions flared once again.

“Nobody [wins] when the [family fights],” Offset wrote in a now-deleted post on X. He accused Cardi B of “capping” for the public, adding that while she’s a talented artist, she was focusing too much on men and trying to tarnish his reputation. “This s**t is whack from us both, honestly. Drop the album and go up,” he suggested.

Cardi B wasted no time responding, calling his remarks foolish. “So, dating because I’m single means I’m just worried about dk? You sound like a dummy,” she fired back. She also told Offset to “Fk off and sign the papers today.” In response, Offset claimed Cardi B was seeking full custody of their three children: Kulture, Wave, and their newborn born in September.

The divorce has been far from amicable. Cardi B filed for divorce in July, and shortly after, announced her pregnancy with their third child. Just two months later, Offset accused her of infidelity while pregnant, to which she famously replied, “AND DID.”

During the heated exchange on Wednesday, Cardi B also addressed Offset’s claim that she was “single and miserable.” She retorted, “You [are] just mad that I’m outside and you thought ngas wasn’t going to be on me. I don’t bother none of the hs you f**k, but every guy I talk to, you DMing.”

While the couple seems to manage co-parenting well, their ongoing public disputes are wearing thin on fans. Hopefully, 2025 brings more peace for the former couple, along with Cardi B’s highly anticipated sophomore album.
