Stephen Napoli, also known as Reptile, is an underground hip hop producer with a style that blends ambient, drill, and other sub-genres. Based in St. Augustine, Florida, Reptile aims to convey a message of comfort and hope through his music, which he creates by sitting down, rolling up, and letting his mind pour out freely.

As an independent artist, Reptile has collaborated frequently with Jxlu, a high school friend who started rapping around the same time he started producing. His latest project is an EP with vocals and beats all done by him, and the inspiration behind it is the importance of embracing one’s uniqueness. Reptile believes that creating what makes him happy, even if others do not feel the same, is crucial to maintaining authenticity and individuality in his music.

Reptile‘s music is a beacon of hope for listeners struggling with personal issues. He hopes that his listeners will take away the message that no matter what, there is always an escape. Reptile‘s music speaks to the struggles he has faced throughout his life, and he uses his experiences to convey a message of comfort and hope. He believes that music can provide an escape for listeners and help them feel less alone in their struggles.

Despite working full-time, Reptile has sold his first beats in December 2020, a milestone that has given him a great sense of accomplishment. He hopes to continue to produce and work with as many artists as possible, and his positive mindset, mentality, and mental health are essential in his journey as an artist. Reptile remains focused on staying true to himself and his music, and he believes that his unique sound and style will continue.
