Mishun Cinco: The Valley Voice Set on Making Timeless Hits

Hailing from the heart of Moreno Valley, Mishun Cinco isn’t just a name you’ll see on a flyer—he’s a sound you’ll remember. With five years in the game and roots grounded in both rap and R&B, Mishun blends the grit of street storytelling with melodic finesse, carving a space that’s as vulnerable as it is vibey. His debut project Last of My Kind introduced a voice built from life’s ups and downs. But he didn’t stop there—he’s only sharpened his pen and expanded his range since.

Influenced not by one artist, but by life itself, Mishun Cinco is inspired by experience. That honesty bleeds through every bar, with tracks that often ride the line between sing-rap and full-on melodic soul. His latest release, Cinco, a tight 5-track EP, showcases that exact balance—raw emotion paired with polished delivery.

Having collaborated with artists like Spank Nitti James and Gudda Mack, Mishun is no stranger to sharing energy with heavy-hitting lyricists. But if there’s one name on his bucket list, it’s Mozzy—a fellow West Coast voice who matches his authenticity.

Mishun is currently crafting his next offering, a tape titled YN Poetry, with longtime producer and supporter Sean Teej helping to sculpt the sonic landscape. When asked about his process, Mishun proudly confirms that he writes all his own material and even crafts his music video concepts from scratch. That level of involvement shows—his artistry isn’t fabricated; it’s lived.

His dream performance? The Bay. His dream tourmate? Roddy Ricch or Lil Baby. And if his recent 500-head crowd in Denver is any indicator, Mishun Cinco is only getting warmed up. With ambitions of making timeless hits that span generations, this Valley voice is ready to stamp his name on the culture.
