LiAngelo Ball is under fire after his ex-girlfriend, Nikki Mudarris, accused him of leaving her and their children for another woman. The Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood star opened up on Instagram on February 8, sharing her side of the shocking situation.
Mudarris, who shares a 1-year-old son, LaVelo, and a 2-month-old daughter, LaNiyah, with the former NBA player, expressed how blindsided she was by Ball’s sudden departure. “I want to clear this up and speak my truth. I am just as surprised as you are,” Mudarris wrote in a heartfelt post. “We spent 3 1/2 years together, and last week he decided to walk out on his kids and I.”
The 34-year-old mother revealed that Ball allegedly told her he was expecting a child with another woman and was moving on to start a new life. “We were just happy and planning family photos – I am beyond blindsided by this whole thing. The ultimate betrayal doesn’t even describe it. My daughter is not even 2 months old, and dealing with this, plus postpartum, is really hard,” she shared. “Please pray for me & my healing because I will get through this.”
Mudarris took to Instagram Stories to share more details, revealing that the woman Ball left her for was older than she was. She didn’t hold back in criticizing the way Ball handled the situation, calling his actions “cowardly and pathetic.” But despite the heartbreak, Mudarris stayed focused on her children, saying, “I have to be strong for my kids. Karma is real, and God doesn’t like ugly. I hope it was worth losing his family.”
The new woman in Ball’s life also took to social media, accusing Mudarris of playing the victim and even claiming that Mudarris doesn’t have custody of her children. Mudarris, for her part, remained focused on her family and healing. As for Ball, he has yet to address the allegations, but did post a picture of himself with his new partner, confirming he’s moved on.
It’s clear that Mudarris is dealing with immense emotional pain, but she’s committed to putting her children first as she works through it.
