Kanye West has officially delivered the deluxe edition of BULLY, giving fans a significantly expanded version of the project after a delayed release sparked concern among listeners earlier in the day.
Although many fans expected the deluxe version to arrive much earlier, the project eventually landed with several surprises, including new songs, updated mixes, and a high-profile contribution from Ms. Lauryn Hill.
Among the biggest additions is “OK,” a new collaboration with Don Toliver. The track marks another notable partnership between Ye and one of today’s most popular melodic artists. Fans also received a brand-new solo Kanye record titled “MISSION CONTROL,” which was absent from the original version of the album.
Another major talking point is the updated version of “I CAN’T WAIT,” which now features vocals from Ms. Lauryn Hill. The legendary artist contributes to the song’s chorus, continuing a creative relationship that recently resurfaced when she appeared during Kanye’s performance at SoFi Stadium earlier this year.
The deluxe release retains the project’s original guest lineup as well, including appearances from Travis Scott, CeeLo Green, Peso Pluma, Nine Vicious, and André Troutman.
Beyond the new songs, fans have also pointed out noticeable changes throughout the album’s production. Many tracks appear to feature revised mixes and updated mastering, leading to speculation that Kanye revisited portions of the project before releasing the deluxe version. Some listeners have even suggested that certain vocals may have been re-recorded, though those claims remain unconfirmed.
The Lauryn Hill collaboration has generated particular attention due to her stature in hip-hop and R&B. Footage of the two artists working together in the studio surfaced months ago, making her appearance on the project less surprising to those closely following Kanye’s recent activities. Nevertheless, the collaboration has sparked discussion among fans given Ye’s controversial public profile in recent years.
The deluxe release follows Kanye’s recent single GEMINI SEASON, which arrived earlier this month in celebration of his birthday. That song was accompanied by a visual directed by his wife, Bianca Censori.
Censori’s creative involvement continues with the rollout of BULLY. Kanye recently released a music video for the album track “KING,” with Bianca once again handling directing duties. Meanwhile, fans are already speculating that “OK” could receive its own visual treatment after Don Toliver appeared to hint at a video on social media.
