Justin From Walmart Becomes Wave Rich

One moment he was stocking shelves — the next, he was on stage opening for Afroman. On June 6, 2025, a Walmart employee named Justin had his life flipped upside down when Swaggertown Records rolled through his store mid-tour.

Artists Jake Strain and RCXY, filming content with their crew, spotted Justin and offered him a wild ultimatum: “Quit your job and come perform tonight.” Without hesitation, Justin ripped off his Walmart shirt, jumped in the van, and by that night, became Wave Rich — making his stage debut at The Westcott Theatre.

During the set, he threw his uniform into the crowd and made it rain dollar bills as the audience chanted “F— Walmart!” — a viral moment that marked the birth of a new star.

Now officially part of Swaggertown Records, Wave Rich is cooking up music and riding the momentum of a one-in-a-million come-up.
