Despite media opportunities shrinking daily causing creatives such as LaDerrius ‘Tukay’ Barksdale originally from Greenville, MS, but now resides in Dallas, Texas to create their own platforms.
Tukay created the platform ‘Talks With Tukay,’ in March of 2020, and can be streamed on all major platforms. If you ask Barksdale, that’s something that fits the podcast series like a glove.
Tukay’s objective with the podcast is to entertain his audience by providing the two peoples perspectives on social, messy, and relationship topics with all that comes with it. ‘Talks With Tukay’ has already had some notable guests such as Lorenzo Tate, Mark Phillphs [@SupremeDream_1], Richiefontane, Xonosleep, and Pimpin_rooster.
Aside from being a loving father and husband, Tukay is a self-proclaimed Super-host, so he sometimes has to answer to his fans. The people can’t seem to get enough between the sound effects ,facial expression, and outright personality. Tukay’s creative artistry is how he showcases his versatility on the podcast mic, investigative reporter, and his dedication to his craft.
