Hunter Cassidy, the soulful artist from Springfield, Illinois, is quickly making a name for himself with a sound that blends pop, acoustic, dark pop, retro, and rock. Since launching his music career in 2020, Hunter has built a reputation for raw, emotional songwriting and undeniable authenticity.
Inspired by greats like Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Freddie Mercury, Hunter crafts every lyric and melody himself. “It’s all me,” he says. That personal touch shines through on his latest single, Telephone—a hauntingly melodic reflection on love, distance, and connection.
Currently working with producer Collin King, Hunter is gearing up for his debut EP later this year. And while many chase deals, Hunter stays grounded. “I don’t want a record or distribution deal. I’ve found my team and I trust them.”
