Huncho Markk is emerging as the new face of Riverdale’s hip-hop scene. Formerly known as UTMR PlugHunxho, Marquavious Bohannon has rebranded and is pushing forward with renewed focus and energy. Now managed by Dillon Cash at Swaggertown Records and Colossal Records, Huncho is ready to make a serious impact.
Born July 21, 2003, in Atlanta, Huncho’s musical foundation comes from classic R&B and soul artists like Mint Condition and Erykah Badu, thanks to his parents. He later shaped his own style influenced by Chris Brown, Future, and Lil Wayne.
In 2021, he introduced himself with “Pain In My Cup,” a single rooted in honesty and personal struggle that caught attention online. Recognizing the need to evolve, he transitioned from PlugHunxho to Huncho Markk to better reflect who he is today.
His first live show came in 2024, performing “Blessing Me” alongside Dvybez at a charity event, showcasing his readiness for larger stages.
Later that year, he dropped his debut mixtape Humbled Youngin, a project full of authentic storytelling and raw emotion.
Huncho Markk’s music is about truth and growth, not trends. With the right team behind him, he’s on track to command stages where the crowd knows every word.
From Riverdale to bigger platforms, Huncho Markk is stepping up—and this is just the beginning.
