Born in the sun-soaked streets of California, GUSTA (real name Elvis Hartman) has made his way through life’s twists and turns, from moving around to calling Pittsburgh his home. But it’s in this city where he truly found his sound—a gritty, electrifying fusion of hip-hop and dance music that’s as raw and real as the city itself. Now, he’s stepping into 2025 with a new release that promises to set the streets, clubs, and airwaves on fire: “U Know (Wanted 2).”

Writing the track came in the dead of night, somewhere between the quiet chaos of 3 a.m. and the stillness of his bedroom. With a bassline that practically breathes on its own, the song came together quickly, with GUSTA pushing himself through a sleepless night in pure creative flow. “Producing isn’t glamorous,” GUSTA admits. “It’s just me in my bedroom pressing buttons until it starts to sound good. But when it does, that’s the magic. I knew ‘U Know (Wanted 2)’ was something special.”

A track that hits hard with a pounding bassline, hypnotic drums, and intoxicating vocals, “U Know (Wanted 2)” is GUSTA’s raw emotional release—exuberant, wild, and untamed. It’s the kind of song that will transport you straight into a night of reckless fun, where everything is alive, and nothing else matters. Think of it as the perfect soundtrack for a night where you dance like nobody’s watching and live for the moment.

This song, which was released on January 3, 2025, showcases GUSTA’s talent not only as an artist but also as a producer. He took control of every aspect of this track, from its initial creation to its polished, mastered sound. “It’s a labor of love,” he explains. “Every detail, every tweak—it’s all part of my journey. And the people around me, like NG Records and the amazing team who helped bring the visuals to life, really helped make this a reality.”

When asked about future collaborations, GUSTA is ready to explore even more boundaries. “I discovered Olya Holiday on Instagram, and I think she’s super sick. I’d love to work with her on something in the future. It’s all about creating something that feels alive, something people can connect to.”

Stay tuned because GUSTA isn’t stopping here. He promises more music to come this year, and if “U Know (Wanted 2)” is anything to go by, it’s going to be a wild ride.
