French Montana’s ties to the Kardashian family made things slightly awkward—and very entertaining—on a recent episode of GOAT Talk. What started as a lighthearted debate quickly turned into a memorable moment when the conversation focused on who the “GOAT Kardashian” really is.
When co-host Max B pressed French to pick just one member of the famous family, the rapper hesitated. Given his past relationship with Khloé Kardashian—the two dated for about a year in 2014—the question felt less like a harmless hot take and more like a trap.
“You can pick one. I can’t pick one,” French admitted, clearly trying to stay neutral.
That hesitation opened the door for Max B to deliver a bold and unexpected answer. “I’m picking the daddy,” he said confidently. “’Cause without the daddy none of them other muthafuckers would be here.”
French initially tried to shut things down, assuming Max was referring to Caitlyn Jenner. But Max quickly clarified that he meant Robert Kardashian, the late family patriarch and famed defense attorney for O.J. Simpson during the 1995 murder trial.
“I’m picking the daddy—the one that was running around with O.J.,” Max explained. French laughed as it clicked, replying, “Oh, the one that passed away. All right.”
Max then doubled down, clearing up the confusion with comedic precision. “The prompt said Kardashian, not Jenner. Shout out to Kris Jenner, too—no disrespect.”
Despite initially refusing to choose, French ultimately agreed with Max and landed on Robert Kardashian as his pick.
French has long spoken warmly about Khloé, even years after their split. In a 2019 interview, he said the two would “always be friends,” describing their relationship as genuine and free of bad blood.
