Doja Cat Hilariously Calls On Elon Musk To Bring Back X’s Audio Posts

Doja Cat has never been shy about sharing her opinions online, and her latest message directed at Elon Musk is generating plenty of laughs across social media.

The Grammy-winning artist recently took to X to campaign for the return of one of the platform’s discontinued features: audio posts. The feature previously allowed users to upload voice recordings directly to their timelines, offering an alternative to traditional text-based updates.

While many users have criticized various platform changes since Musk acquired X, Doja chose a more humorous and lighthearted approach when making her request. Her post quickly attracted attention from fans who appreciated both the message and her characteristic sense of humor.

Audio posts developed a dedicated following among creators, musicians, influencers, and public figures who enjoyed sharing thoughts in their own voice rather than through written messages. Since the feature’s removal, many users have continued asking for its return, making Doja one of the highest-profile voices to publicly advocate for it.

The viral post comes during an especially busy period for the artist.

Just recently, Doja Cat found herself in another online discussion involving streamer PlaqueBoyMax. The situation unfolded after he gifted subscriptions during one of her streams and was subsequently banned by moderators.

Doja later addressed the incident publicly, clarifying that she did not support the decision and stating that the ban was not her idea. She also dismissed suggestions that the situation was connected to past criticism of her album Scarlet.

Outside of social media drama, Doja remains focused on her ongoing Tour Ma Vie World Tour. The global trek has taken her across multiple regions, and she is expected to return to North America later this year for another run of performances.

Upcoming stops reportedly include major cities such as Seattle, San Francisco, Miami, and New York City, where the tour is scheduled to conclude.

Whether Elon Musk ultimately brings back audio posts remains to be seen. But if nothing else, Doja Cat has once again demonstrated her ability to turn a simple platform request into one of the internet’s most entertaining conversations of the day.
