What is your stage name?
05iVE

Where are you from?
NY

What made you want to pursue a career in music?
Music has been a part of my life since childhood—it’s stuck with me ever since. So, I figured, why not spend the rest of my time giving back to it?

Can you share some highlights of your music career?
Traveling to Ohio with my team to perform alongside OMB Peezy was a major moment for me.

How would you describe your style and sound as an artist?
Mainly underground trap, but you never really know what you’re gonna get when you see “05iVE dropped it.”

In what ways do you believe your music resonates with your audience?
I think it’s because I’m genuinely having fun with it—I don’t take this too seriously. I’m just doing what I love, and people can feel that energy.

How do you approach collaborations with other musicians or producers?
Usually, my manager handles that, but if I reach out myself, I’ll add them on my story, check for their management in their bio, or just shoot them a DM on Instagram.

Are you independent, or do you work with a team?
I’m always working with a team. Me and my guys want to be a part of something bigger than just a solo career—we’re building an enterprise at the end of the day.

Have you had any achievements in your career that you’re particularly proud of?
It might not seem huge to some, but I’ll never forget the moment I hit my first 1,000 total streams. I was out hiking when I got the news.

What motivates you to keep pushing as an artist?
My family, my friends, and everyone who listens to my music. Sometimes, I think about stopping, but then I remember that there are people who genuinely enjoy what I create. That keeps me going.

Have you faced any challenges in your career? How did you overcome them?
Absolutely. I’ve dealt with songs dropping on the wrong days and video shoots that didn’t turn out as planned. But I remind myself—it’s just a roadblock, not a game-ender.

How do you engage with your fan base on social media?
I’ve done giveaways with exclusive one-of-one merch, but my favorite thing is my private Snapchat story. It gives my fans a behind-the-scenes look into my music-making process.

What’s the next single you want to release?
“2much.on.my.plate” drops April 4, 2025, at 5 PM.
