OgDaKween is a rising rap artist from Chicago who has been making music for the past 7 years. While she has been seriously pursuing music since 2016, her love for the art form dates back to her hobby days in 2007/08. With her unique flow and catchy lyrics, OgDaKween is starting to make a name for herself in the hip hop world with one of her new songs, Thick.
OgDaKween’s first project, a single titled “Whay Up”, marked the beginning of her journey as a professional rapper. Her inspiration comes from the likes of Snoop Dogg, Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar and Ye, all of whom have influenced her style of rap.
At present, OgDaKween is an independent artist and has not signed with any label yet. While she remains undecided on whether she wants a record deal or a distribution deal, her biggest supporters are her community, her mentor, and her photographer. OgDaKween writes her own material, and although she has not created her own music videos in the past, she is open to the idea.
Currently, OgDaKween is working on her EP, which may potentially turn into an album. OgDaKween did a collaboration album with DJ Downlow Davis her producer the title for the album is Underground Champions 6, it is available across all streaming platforms. This summer, she plans to release her EP/album, which promises to be filled with a variety of music.
