Mac Miller’s GO:OD AM Turns 10 with Three Unreleased Tracks

Fans of the late rapper Mac Miller are celebrating a nostalgic surprise as his acclaimed 2015 album GO:OD AM returns with three previously unheard songs. Released on Friday (October 3) to mark the album’s 10th anniversary, the expanded edition includes “Cable Box,” “Carpe Diem,” and “Royal Flush,” featuring Vinny Radio.

Longtime collaborator ID Labs handled production on “Cable Box” and “Royal Flush,” while experimental producer Clams Casino crafted the atmospheric “Carpe Diem.” The track stands out for its introspective tone, showcasing Mac’s blend of reflective lyricism and soulful melody.

A poignant line — “One day I’ma be the greatest, retire my jersey” — hits especially hard given the rapper’s untimely death in 2018. The release offers both a reminder of Mac’s raw talent and a window into the evolution of his artistry.

The reissue follows Balloonerism, another posthumous release from Mac’s estate earlier this year. Recorded in 2014, Balloonerism features guest spots from SZA and Thundercat, further cementing the legacy of an artist whose creative journey was tragically cut short.

Upon its original release, GO:OD AM debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, solidifying Mac’s transition from mixtape phenom to fully realized musician. Ten years later, his words still resonate as deeply as ever.
