What is your name?

Jared Laws. Derived from the root word Yrd in Hebrew meaning “descent”.

Would you rather have?

50k in cash or a perfect credit score, and why?

Hmm, interesting question. I don’t fuckin know a credit score would help me land an apartment and a music gig with people who like to record at in home studios but 50k I would feel like the fucking man. I’d say credit to be honest, yeah. College would like that.

Who is your favorite producer?

Shamana. Such a cool sound, makes me feel like a kid again sometimes.

Are you a touring artist or a recording artist?

Recording for sure, but hell i’d go on a fuckin tour.

Have you ever thought about quitting music?

Like every day but I have high hopes.

Favorite Era of music?

Yoo it’s gotta be the era of just before X and Ski blew up and when all my beats were hip-hop garbage. Fun shit happened like every day. But I definitely idolize the period of Skrillex’s comeup too. Idk dude shits fun as fuuck haha I love music.

Do you plan on traveling?

I travel around every now and then so my travel plans are huge for the future once the world is done ending from viruses and antidotes. Till thy kingdom come a blessing will come a thousand-fold.

Are you an independent artist or are you signed or under any management?

Independent, computers and instruments always at home singing my own tunes to the world. Not under management as of yet.

What was your most memorable concert, did you perform at it?

It was a house party/mini festival in Boone, NC. I didn’t perform but I would’ve been fucking killer if I did. Everyone had a blast there, dressed up as favorite characters for a halloween summer event, drugs, booze, girls, good ass music and more booze. Molly went crazy over there.

What was your biggest challenge that you had to overcome during your music career, so far?

Dealing with the death of a friend and artist. It breaks my heart knowing I can’t work with him anymore. Rest in peace Sosagaga, vibe forever.
