What is your Stage Name?
“Flocab”

Where are you from? State / Country?
“Florida”

What made you want to pursue a career in music?
“I grew up with music and my parents always told me to work for something I love, and music is the only thing I would do as a career.”

Can you share some highlights of your music career, if any?
“I go to college for my mixing engineering experience, I opened up for Wifisfuneral, and I am now opening up for Robb Banks as well.”

How would you describe your style and sound as an artist?
“I’m this generation’s Nas, J. Cole — I feel like I’m one of the artists that’s speaking truth and not talking about nonsense.”

In what ways do you believe your music resonates with your audience?
“I speak on my real-life experiences, and I know there’s people out there who can relate. Maybe they feel how I feel but don’t know how to elaborate or write their words in a song.”

How do you approach collaboration with other musicians or producers?
“I listen and speak. I know I can learn a lot in a collaboration with another artist, and I know I can teach them something as well.”

Can you share any experiences working with a team in the past? Or are you truly independent?
“My past experiences were good at first, but then it became a problem at the end because they made promises they ended up not keeping. But overall, I’ve always been independent.”

Have you had any significant achievements or accolades in your career that you’re particularly proud of?
“Just opening up for Wifisfuneral and Robb Banks for now. I can’t wait to see the future artist I would open up for or maybe perform with.”

What motivates you to continue pushing yourself as an artist?
“Helping my people and changing my community. There’s a lot of people gaining power and not using it the right way.”

Have you faced any challenges in your career, and how did you overcome them?
“Yes, and I overcame them by just ditching the negative and sticking to myself to find the right people who can help me out with my career.”

How do you engage with your fan base on social media, and what role does it play in your overall strategy?
“I engage with my fans at shows more — especially after performances. They come up to me, I follow some fans back, comment back to fans on my page. Honestly, it plays a good role — shows fans that I actually care.”

What is the next single you want to release?
“My song I’ve been teasing on my Instagram.”
