Dame Dash is facing significant financial repercussions following a ruling in a defamation case brought against him by director Josh Webber. The court has ordered Dash to pay a $4 million default judgment in relation to Webber’s claims of defamatory remarks made during Dash’s appearance on the Earn Your Leisure podcast.
In the lawsuit, Webber accused Dash of making harmful and untrue statements about him, particularly concerning a past dispute over the film Dear Frank. In that case, Dash had been ordered to pay Webber and the movie’s producers over $800,000. The recent judgment marks another financial setback for the music mogul, already embroiled in ongoing legal and financial battles.
