Steve “Bigga Biggz” Morency hails from the vibrant streets of Flatbush, Brooklyn, a melting pot of cultures and sounds. Growing up, music was always a part of his life, thanks to his older brother who introduced him to the rhythmic pulse of reggae and the gritty beats of hip-hop. His influences span across legends like Wu-Tang Clan, LL Cool J, Biggie, Nas, and Busta Rhymes in hip-hop, and reggae icons like Dennis Brown, Buju Banton, and Shabba Ranks. This eclectic mix of genres helped mold Bigga Biggz’s unique sound, a fusion of Caribbean vibes and classic New York hip-hop, creating a sonic landscape that bridges two powerful musical worlds.

Bigga Biggz’s creative process is driven by emotion, particularly motivation, love, and self-love. His music speaks to his journey through life’s highs and lows, aiming to inspire his listeners with messages of perseverance and self-worth. Since the loss of his mother, Bigga has found solace and purpose in his music. In fact, he notes that his recent work is heavily influenced by his mother’s passing and the loss he felt during that time. He’s been creating music that caters to the ladies, finding a therapeutic outlet for his grief through smooth, soulful tracks.

Currently, Bigga Biggz is working on an album dedicated to women, reflecting his personal experiences and his desire to make music that resonates emotionally. Though he hasn’t collaborated with many artists yet, his long-term vision is to shift from making his own music to producing for both up-and-coming and established artists. Despite the challenges of balancing personal life—being a divorced father of two—Bigga finds solace in music, using it as therapy to channel his emotions.

For Bigga Biggz, authenticity is key. He believes that by staying true to his personal experiences, his music naturally reflects his individuality. His ultimate goal? To top the charts in every genre, showing the world that his talent transcends boundaries.
