Gunna and Burna Boy Turn Up the Heat in “wgft” Video

Gunna’s The Last Wun era is still going full throttle. Ahead of his upcoming “Wun World Tour,” the Atlanta rapper has dropped the steamy new video for “wgft,” featuring Burna Boy. The collaboration has been a clear standout from the album since its release, largely thanks to its hypnotic hook and undeniable chemistry between the two artists.

Filmed in London, the visual lives up to the song’s sultry energy. It opens with a group of women getting ready in a bathroom before cutting to Gunna, who appears tied up on a mattress as he delivers the track’s memorable chorus. From there, the video unfolds into a wild ride filled with pole dancing, snake imagery, and dimly lit club scenes.

At one point, the women take Gunna for a drive that ends at an adult store — and while he stays in the car, the tension only builds. Things hit a fever pitch when he finds himself in an underground nightclub, just as Burna Boy slides in for his fiery verse:

“Don’t bring your friend if it ain’t gonna be a threesome / Won’t pretend, ain’t gonna lie, I’m tryna freak somethin’ / And I see you a sweet one, you a freak, you’s a demon.”

Directed by Spike Jordan, the video is one of Gunna’s boldest visuals yet — a perfect match for the song’s provocative tone. It follows the release of “just say dat,” the first visual from The Last Wun, which featured Desi Banks and producer Turbo.

Speaking with iHeartRadio, Gunna explained the album’s deeper meaning:

“I am the one, as you know, from One of Wun to WUNNA. Basically, I feel like I’m the last one standing… that’s why you see the stone sculpture — because stones last forever.”

Gunna’s “Wun World Tour” kicks off November 17 at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway, with stops across North America before heading to Africa, Australia, and Europe in early 2025.
