The Rise of MKHL: London Indie Artist Making Waves in NYC

MKHL, the indie artist from London, is making waves in the New York City music scene. He started making music at the age of 16, initially exploring rock and country before delving into rap and other genres at the age of 23. Despite facing doubts and thoughts of quitting music along the way, MKHL has remained committed to his craft and has become a rising star in the music industry. MKHL’s passion for music is evident in the fact that he has given everything to it, even while running a marketing agency. He has shifted his focus from streaming numbers to creating songs that he truly loves, and this shift has paid off. One of his best songs, “Dessi,” has proven itself to be timeless, and MKHL is proud of the fact that every time it plays, he sees new people react as if they’ve been waiting for the song their whole lives. Despite being an independent artist, MKHL has worked with many record labels and notable artists such as Jadakiss and Compton Menace. He has performed in almost every venue in NYC and a few across Atlanta, with his favorite performance being the sold-out Highline Ballroom performance for RAW artists. MKHL’s dream collaboration in the rap genre would be with UK artists like Central Cee, Digga D, or Dizzy Rascal, while his dream collaboration in the rock/pop genre would be with Kings of Leon or the 1975. MKHL’s rise to success is a testament to his undying will and fearlessness in following his dreams, inspired by his mother’s example. He credits Guitar Hero on the Xbox 360 as his entry into the world.
