The Dishcloth Orthodoxy, the latest pop-rock sensation, has made his debut with the release of his single, “Monsters In My Closet.” The song speaks of fear, dark rooms and monsters lurking in them ready to pounce on unsuspecting victims. Written and produced by the artist himself, the song is a clever mix of comedy and rock, with witty lyrics and catchy melodies that will get you humming along.

When asked about the creation process of the song, The Dishcloth Orthodoxy (real name Josh Loewen) revealed that he wrote the song’s hook first, which was inspired by  n his fear of horror movies. He went on to say that the song was crafted with no prior planning, adding that he goes to the gym for two hours every morning, which boosts his creativity.

The single, released under his independent label, The Dishcloth Orthodoxy, will be available on April 7, 2023. Although the artist has no music video to accompany the single, he promises that the next single, to be released closer to May, will be a significant improvement on the first.

The artist’s music style is lighthearted, fun, and melodic, a fusion of comedy, pop rock melodies, and witty lyrics. He cites Flight Of The Conchords as a significant inspiration in his career. The artist’s goal in the next five years is to start gigs, host events, and release a few albums, cementing his place in the music industry.
