Kovan Dalil, an American professional soccer player, was born on August 16, 1995. He now plays attacking midfield for Sahara Gunners FC club in the UPSL, US Open Cup, on loan from Iraqi Premier League club Duhok, and for the Kurdistan national team.

Kovan Dalil excelled in soccer both in high school and college. Agents, notably those from a league in Kurdistan, frequently scouted him. He spent a brief time playing in the Kurdish Cup League and subsequently the Kurdish Premier League when they sent him to Iraq.
