We asked the Atlanta-based rapper, Casiino Smooth about his creative process for his new project and the following was his response.”I make music off of how I’m feeling at the moment or time. A lot of stuff I’ve created that was well received was either freestyled or at a point in my life when I was sad or upset. If I think about the music I create too much and come back and try to rewrite lyrics it usually comes out cheesy from overthinking.”
The artist also mentioned that his best music comes from when he’s going through something or when he freestyles since the feeling is more natural and authentic.
Casiino Smooth is set to release a new project in the summer of 2021 or early this fall. The project will be a compilation album that features a variety of music artists including himself to better position the project for a spot on Billboard top 100.
